How our Service Desk Works

Call Us

Call our team of highly experienced glass polishers to discuss your scratched glass problem. Very often they are able to give you helpful straight forward advice there and then together with a fixed cost for the repair.

Site Visit

If a site assessment is required, a Guild Senior Polisher will visit your site to thoroughly assess the scratch damage present and provide a full estimate. You will recieve an estimate, providing a fixed cost for the total repair within 12 hours.

Once you authorise our estimate, all required doumentation, RAMS / Insurances / Technician site cards, will be sent to you and we will arrange for a team of industry qualified glass polishers to attend and carryout the repairs

Once work has been completed, The Guild will carryout an independent assessment to ensure that all repairs have been completed to the highest standard, before inviting you or your site team to inspect and sign a customer satisfaction declaration.

Peace of Mind

Our members are still the only glass polishers able to GUARANTEE the quality of their work, producing distortion free, invisible repairs, everytime.

The standard of our work is also guaranteed to exceed the highest standards of visual quality in the industry. In fact, The Guild has published an enhanced Standard of Visual Quality for the repair of installed flate glass which demands a much higher standard than the current industry standards.

At The Guild of Glass Polishers, we work hard to enhance the image of our industry by encouraging our members to profit a premium service and best practice at all times.

All of our members are C.I.T.B registered and carry valid C.S.C.S. cards, meaning that they are trained and qualified to operate safely within your working environment.

Each glass polishing technician is also equipped with full 5 point P.P.E. and equipment for working in either 110v or 240v depending on your site requirements. As working platforms or M.E.W.P's are often required to access working areas, many of our members are also I.P.A.F. training and qualified.

Our glass polishing techncians also carry full Risk Assessments and Method Statements relating to their work on your site. These are prepared by our Senior Glass Polishers who will have visited your site previously to undertake the initial assessment of works.

All contracts are covered by our own liability insurance policies - Public Liability - £5 million, Employers Liability - £10 million. Specific liability cover such as Airside or Trackside can be arranged. Our insurance documentation can be viewed here.

Our members are the only glass polishers to hold Industry Recognised Qualifications, specific to glass polishing.  Developed by The Guild and supported by The Glass & Glazing Federation.  This not only provides some structure to our industry, it helps to safeguard industry users, helping them to easily identify professional glass polishers, securing the best services available.
